I hate deliveries!!!
So sorry Tiff! Seriously.. , its the car ride to the venue that is really the most stressful. Those 45 mins had to be the most painful and exasperating journey of my life. If only there were teleportation devices like in fringe!!!! I need Walter!!!
Very sorry yaaaa Tiff.. I'll try to make it up to you somehowwww...

Chinese New Year Mood
Look what we've done in a weekend:
Traditional Kueh Lapis:
This is my favourite out of the three. Despite the long hours and repeated handling of trays in and out of the oven, it's all worth while. The cake is super moist and it's not too sweet. The spice taste was not too overpowering. My mum is not a fan of cinnamon , cloves and nutmeg but she devoured the whole piece in two bites. * The colour looked better in real life*
Everything was made from scratch. I stood in front of the stove for a good whole hour just to get the right wetness and sweetness for the jam.

Cashew Nut Cookies:
The pastry simply melts in the mouth while the nut gives a subtle crunchiness to it. Oh, and it's a vegetarian recipe.
* Reb K. , i can bake this for you*
